Orange is the color of energy and enthusiasm, promising victory to those who are determined.
I know the title is rather girly, but I couldn't find another shade of orange that really fit. Vermilion was too red and Saffron was too yellow. (herpaderp Pokemon -slapped-) Marigolds also represent passion and creativity, which isn't too far from what I'm trying to convey, I suppose. I spent so long on this because I couldn't come up with the right pose to portray what I wanted. I still feel like it's lacking in the end, but I'm satisfied with him. I LOVE the color orange, so I wanted this to look good. I went through a lot of frustration from my self-imposed high expectations though.

Man, I have to say, your anime is super realistic! I LOVE your art!! 
I am trying to practice mixing anime and realistic together then might end up working at FUNimation or learn some more Japanese then go to Japan and do some of my own manga , its pretty hard and a lot of work to get through for me as it seems for now, but I know that I can do it if I just keep moving forward and believe in myself that I can make it happen.
